About The Position

The Youth ACT Team Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide treatment and support to families and children ages 10 to 21 who have significant behavioral health needs and are at risk of entering, or returning home from, high-end services such as inpatient or residential care. The role provides highly individualized clinical treatment, family psychoeducation, and skills development. Services are delivered in youth and families’ homes and communities, in collaboration with other service providers and systems involved with the family. Youth Assertive Community Treatment services aim to improve significant functional impairments and severe symptoms related to mental illness or serious emotional disturbance. Clinical and rehabilitative interventions also support family functioning, health, stability, and the reintegration of youth returning home after residential treatment or inpatient hospitalization. Services are family-driven, youth-guided, and developmentally appropriate, addressing needs across family, school, medical, behavioral, psychosocial, and community domains. The position requires some evening availability and rotating on-call coverage. A sign-on bonus is available after completion of a six-month probationary period, and a field differential is attached to the role.
