The mission of the program is the Recovery Model so that individuals can realize their recovery goals, while supporting them in the least restrictive way possible, and helping them to be successful in the community. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of person-centered treatment plans that seek to resolve the current presenting difficulty and support the individual in stepping down to less intensive community settings as quickly as possible. Additional support in the areas of medication management, resource connection (e.g., housing resources, AOD, PCP, OP, etc.), counseling and advocacy will be provided as needed. This is an at-will direct service position within a program. The position employee is responsible for assisting and advocating for our members in all areas of treatment and helps them in addressing barriers that prevent them from achieving chosen meaningful roles as well as supporting opportunities for clients to make informed decisions regarding their mental health treatment in order to enhance quality of life roles. The Behavioral Health Clinician provides field-based and office-based mental health services to FSP clients using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and recovery-oriented approach. The clinician works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in achieving stability, wellness, and meaningful life goals.
