About The Position

Choice Recovery Path (CRP) is seeking a driven, compassionate Clinician I (Non-Independently Licensed) to join their clinical team in Las Cruces, NM. This full-time, in-person role involves delivering individual and group therapy to clients with addiction and mental health challenges under the guidance of a Clinical Supervisor. CRP is committed to serving individuals and families across New Mexico and values purpose-driven work.

Requirements

Active New Mexico license in good standing: LMHC, LMSW, LADAC, or LSAA
Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field
Experience working with individuals living with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities
Experience working with diverse ethnic/racial populations and individuals from rural communities
Solid knowledge of substance use and psychiatric conditions, treatments, and best practices
Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and ability to manage a caseload independently
Ability to become credentialed with payor sources
Comfort with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Reliable personal transportation and a clean driving record
Current and Valid New Mexico driver’s license

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience in mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders preferred
Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for virtual sessions

Responsibilities

Providing individual and group counseling services
Conducting biopsychosocial assessments and diagnosing mental health and substance use disorders
Developing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Delivering trauma-informed, recovery-focused care
Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment interventions as needed
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate seamless services
Educating clients and families on addiction, relapse prevention, and mental health
Participating actively in treatment team meetings and ongoing company training
Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements
