About The Position
The Vermont Veterans' Home (VVH) is seeking to hire a part-time Behavioral Health Aide for a position within the Behavioral Health Department. This temporary position will work closely with the Licensed Clinical Social Work team to implement Behavioral Health treatment plans and interventions based on best practice for mental health, trauma and dementia care. Incumbents will be responsible for assisting with progress notes and other daily paperwork and/or data entry. This is a part-time position working 24 hours per week and including some weekends.
Requirements
- No specific education or experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a nursing home, healthcare setting, mental health setting or with older adults/Veterans.
- Experience facilitating therapeutic activities with groups of any age.
Responsibilities
