About The Position

This full-time position will support the director with monitoring Division needs. The role involves assisting the Behavioral Health unit of the local health department in monitoring numerous behavioral health grant funding streams from federal, state, and local sources. The position will collaborate with behavioral health program team members to develop and submit grant reporting documents on time, work with the fiscal office to ensure budgetary spending aligns with grant plans through invoices, and monitor subrecipient performance and reporting. Additionally, this position will oversee the division's quality assurance and report on these measures. The role also requires close collaboration with providers to ensure compliance with their agreements.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • Two years of experience performing administrative staff, clerical, clerical technical, or secretarial work.
  • Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for each year of the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non-commissioned officer involving staff work requiring regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting rules and regulations in accordance with agency laws and policies on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
  • Employees assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in developing and preparing Microsoft Excel spreadsheets for statistical tables, charts, reports, including google suites, etc.
  • Experience working in behavioral health (substance use and mental health).

Responsibilities
