About The Position

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is hiring compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one support to children and families throughout the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley area. We provide comprehensive paid training and ongoing support from experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them strengthen communication, social, behavioral, play, self-help, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum availability of 15 hours per week
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions
• Dependable, professional, and organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable learning behavior intervention and data collection techniques

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support behavior change
• Collect session data and complete required clinical documentation
• Collaborate with BCBAs and other clinical team members
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
