About The Position

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is hiring compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one support to children and families throughout the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley area. We provide comprehensive paid training, clinical support, and mentorship to help you succeed, even with no prior ABA experience. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, helping them strengthen communication, social, behavioral, play, self-help, and daily living skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum availability of 15 hours per week
• Afternoon/evening availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance and registration
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles from your home for client sessions
• Dependable, professional, and organized
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable learning behavior intervention and data collection techniques

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with children is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help, and daily living skills
• Use positive, evidence-based strategies to support behavior change
• Collect session data and complete required clinical documentation
• Collaborate with BCBAs and other clinical team members
• Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
