About The Position

This is an entry-level ABA therapy position where you will work 1:1 with autistic children ages 2-12. You will implement therapy plans built by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and provide a consistent, supportive presence. The role involves spending the majority of the day actively engaged with children, often on your feet. Gracent Pediatric Therapy practices assent-based, neuroaffirming care, focusing on following the child's lead, honoring boundaries, and building trust. You will work in a genuinely interdisciplinary environment alongside occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Available Monday–Friday, 8am start.
  • Able to actively engage with children — sitting on the floor, walking, lifting up to 45 lbs.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Good with kids.
  • Stays calm under pressure.
  • Wants to build a career in behavioral health, child psychology, education, or therapy.
  • Real experience with kids (e.g., babysitting, coaching, camps, classroom work, tutoring, youth ministry).

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework in psychology, education, or a related field preferred.
