Behavior Technician BT Work With Kids
About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to work with children aged 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism in a center-based environment. This role is more than just a job; it's a calling for individuals who are patient, positive, and celebrate small victories. You will work 1:1 with children, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves building skills through play and connection, tracking progress, documenting sessions using ABA technology, and creating a safe, positive environment. We provide paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with strong clinical mentorship, career pathways, and a supportive culture.
Requirements
- Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Reliability — showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks
- Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
- Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services
- Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment
- Pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds
- Sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed

Responsibilities
- Delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), guided by individualized treatment plans
- Building skills through play, connection, and the kind of presence that helps a child feel safe enough to try
- Tracking progress and documenting sessions using ABA technology
- Creating a safe, positive environment for every child you work with
- Preparing for your RBT certification exam within your first 45 days
