Behavior Technician (BT)
About The Position
Rush Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a full-time Behavior Technician to join its collaborative, multidisciplinary pediatric team. The technician works one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs under the direction and supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Training is provided. The position is based at 3815 E. Main Street, Suite B, St. Charles, IL 60174, and also involves working with children in their homes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with variable hours and some evenings until 6:30 p.m. Compensation is $19.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Students working toward an RBT credential and/or a master’s degree in ABA are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Collect, record, and document data based on observable client behavior.
- Communicate children’s progress to parents and team members.
- Work one-on-one with children who have an autism diagnosis, both in their homes and in the center.
- Implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed and supervised by a BCBA.
