Burnett Therapeutic Services (BTS) is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians to provide one-on-one support to children with autism or developmental delays. Technicians help children build communication, social, play, problem-solving, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in a child’s home, clinic, or school and last 2–3 hours. Caseloads are tailored to employee availability and comfort with different age groups, from toddlers to teens. The role is suitable for entry-level candidates and certified Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). BTS provides training, supervision, coaching, shadowing, mentorship, and opportunities for career growth. New technicians must obtain RBT certification within six months of employment, unless they maintain an active BCAT or ABAT certification. The position is part-time, based in Ione, California, with in-home work and a weekday schedule. Compensation is $20–$24 per hour, based on experience and training, with an increase after training and RBT certification. BTS is a privately owned California agency founded in 2015 by a BCBA and a Marriage and Family Therapist. It provides behavior therapy, family support, and skill-building programs across multiple counties, and describes its workplace as diverse and inclusive.
