About The Position

Brighter Tomorrow Behavioral Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join their team as Behavior Technicians in Montague, NJ. This is a part-time role with hours typically scheduled after school, Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM, totaling 17.5 hours per week. The company is looking for an experienced Behavior Technician familiar with ABA Therapy and working with children with behaviors. Brighter Tomorrow is a smaller ABA therapy company that emphasizes collaboration, ongoing learning, and support, offering personal attention and mentorship. They provide assistance for pursuing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and working towards becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
A passion for helping others and a desire to learn.
Familiarity with ABA Methods.
Experience working with autistic kids that have behaviors.

Nice To Haves

Degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
Prior experience in ABA, childcare, teaching, or working with children with special needs.
Completion of a 40-hour RBT training (company can help with this).
Willingness to complete and maintain RBT certification.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with clients in their homes.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
Collect and record data on client progress.
Communicate with supervising BCBAs and provide updates to families.
Foster growth, independence, and meaningful progress in the lives of the children we serve.
