About The Position

Autism Learning Partners is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children and teens with autism. This role offers a fulfilling journey where you can build your career while making a positive impact every day. Responsibilities include teaching children new skills through play, acting as a positive role model, staying active during sessions, tracking client data, and supporting families. The company provides full, paid training, and offers growth opportunities. The position is available for both part-time and full-time schedules, with daily pay access and competitive compensation.

Requirements

  • You have a High School Diploma or GED completed AND have also completed at least one semester of college coursework or are currently enrolled in college courses.
  • At least 6 months of paid or volunteer experience working with children, preferably in educational or therapeutic settings.
  • You have a smartphone or similar device (e.g., iPad, tablet with internet services or laptop) capable of capturing client session data and are tech-savvy.
  • You can pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, TB test, Pre-employment Physical Exam, and have or receive immunities to MMR/ VZV during our onboarding, which we will pay for.
  • You'll be driving to and from clients' homes, so you have a reliable form of transportation including a valid driver’s license and car insurance.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently.
  • Ability to keep up with active children and are enthusiastic and professional.

Nice To Haves

  • ABA experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to individuals with Autism or special needs through family, friends, or work experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Help Kids Learn Through Play: Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, following directions — often through fun games or activities.
  • Be a Positive Role Model: Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
  • Stay Active: You’ll be moving around, playing, and engaging throughout your sessions.
  • Keep Things Organized: Track what you worked on and how your kiddo did (we’ll train you on this too).
  • Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope.
