About The Position
Learning Ladders ABA is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide ABA therapy to children and teens with autism. The role focuses on helping clients build confidence, independence, and everyday life skills. Therapy is provided under BCBA supervision in clients’ homes in Petersburg, Virginia. Part-time after-school shifts are available on weekday afternoons and evenings.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
- Current RBT certification.
- Familiarity with ABA data collection and session documentation.
- Strong communication skills, patience, creativity, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
- Accurately collect data and document sessions in the Rethink app within 24 hours.
- Follow individualized behavior intervention plans and maintain fidelity to them.
- Communicate effectively with families and report observations to the supervising BCBA.
