Cortica is seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide naturalistic, play-based ABA care to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role uses a strength-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach, helping children build on their unique abilities and develop skills that support positive relationships across home, school, and community settings. Care combines neuroscience and developmental models and is delivered in collaboration with families and clinicians. Behavior Technicians work with children individually and in groups, implementing positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA. They document session data, collaborate with families and supervisors, and follow crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting. The position requires travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation. Cortica provides a two-week, in-person orientation with hands-on training, BCAT exam review, and coverage of exam fees. Employees are expected to obtain a BCAT credential within 90 days of their start date. The listed pay range is $20.08–$26.94 per hour, based on experience and education. Part-time schedules are offered in 5-, 3-, or 2-day-per-week options, with opportunities to pick up additional hours on Saturdays.
