Behavior Technician BT Work With Kids
About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) to work with children aged 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism. This role is based in a center-based environment where you will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The position involves building skills through play and connection, tracking progress, documenting sessions using ABA technology, and creating a safe, positive environment. The company emphasizes strong clinical mentorship, career pathways, and a collaborative culture. Paid training is provided to help you become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within your first 45 days.
Requirements
- Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Reliability—showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks
- Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
- Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment
- Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed
Nice To Haves
- Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services
- Experience with children is a plus
