Behavior Technician BT Work With Kids
About The Position
We are looking for a Behavior Technician (BT) who is passionate about working with children. This role involves working 1:1 with children aged 18 months to 6 years who have a diagnosis of autism in a center-based environment. The BT will deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using play-based methods to build skills. Responsibilities include tracking progress, documenting sessions, and creating a safe, positive environment. The company provides paid training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and offers career pathways, including support for becoming a BCBA.
Requirements
- Full-time availability Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Must be 18 or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Reliability—showing up for scheduled hours and staying on top of administrative tasks
- Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days
- Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment—we'll prepare you
- Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed

- Interest in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services—experience with children is a plus
