As a Behavior Technician working one-on-one with children with Autism in a supportive clinic setting, you will run individualized procedures designed to reduce challenging behaviors, enhance functional daily living skills, and improve functional communication. You will support the acceptance of neurodiversity, provide compassionate, assent-based care, and truly prioritize the wants and needs of your clients. You will use a tablet to collect session data and write clear, objective daily progress notes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or higher.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to get to and from the clinic daily.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, transition quickly, bend, kneel, crouch, and move or run quickly when necessary to engage at a child's level and maintain strict safety protocols.

  • No prior ABA or medical experience required.
  • All Backgrounds Welcomed: Great for candidates transitioning out of school district roles (LPS paraprofessionals/aides), daycare centers, state care services, DSP/CNA caregiving, medical assisting, retail, or hospitality looking for stable daytime clinical hours (prior experience in these fields is welcomed, but not required!).
