Behavior Technician - Part-Time Evenings - Nuevo, CA
About The Position
SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a Behavior Technician to support people with developmental disabilities in reaching greater independence and quality of life. The role provides one-to-one therapy in clients’ homes and/or community settings and implements customized, Applied Behavior Analysis-driven treatment programs for youth. Treatment goals are implemented under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, with client progress and program data tracked and reported to the supervisor. The position has current availability Monday through Friday between 12:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., for 2–5 hours per day. Service areas include Nuevo, Murrieta, Menifee, Homeland, Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Hemet, and San Jacinto, California. Medical benefits are available to employees who qualify. The listed pay range is $20.00–$26.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a behaviorally challenged population.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation and insurance.
- Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Nice To Haves
- Registered Behavioral Technician certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis-driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in home and/or community environments.
- Provide one-to-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities in home or community settings.
- Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor regarding client progress.
- Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
- Track client progress and program data.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient-related information.
