Behavior Technician - Part-Time Evenings - High Desert

About The Position

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide individualized services to youth with developmental disabilities. The role involves implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)-driven treatment plans in clients’ homes or community settings, with treatment goals supervised by a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst. The position is part-time and serves clients in Adelanto, Apple Valley, Hesperia, Phelan, Victorville, and surrounding areas. Current availability is Monday through Friday between 1:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., for 2–5 hours per day. Medical benefits are available for those who qualify. The salary range is $24.00–$29.00 per hour.

Requirements

Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable transportation and insurance.
Flexibility with client scheduling and treatment needs.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) certification is preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Implement ABA-driven programs for youth with developmental disabilities in their homes or community environments.
Provide one-to-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities in home or community settings.
Implement treatment goals under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
Provide feedback to the supervisor regarding client progress.
Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social skills, and other targeted treatment goals.
Track client progress and program data.
Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Observe confidentiality and safeguard patient-related information.
