About The Position

Proficio Therapy Services is a mission-driven therapy organization providing ABA, speech, and occupational therapy to children and families. The organization operates 11 clinics across the United States, supported by more than 250 clinicians, and is expanding in California, Utah, India, and the Middle East. The Behavior Technician provides one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the technician implements individualized treatment plans, gathers accurate data, and supports skill development while reducing challenging behaviors. The role includes collaboration with families and team members, ongoing training, and adherence to ethical and agency standards. Part-time positions are also available. Work location depends on client needs and may include clinic, home, school, and/or community settings. Schedules may vary according to client and staffing needs. Candidates must be able to travel to multiple work sites and client homes and have reliable transportation. The position involves sitting, standing, bending, moving around the clinic, spending significant time on one's feet, potentially lifting up to 40 pounds, and engaging in active play and therapy activities with clients.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong flexibility, adaptability, and time management skills.
Ability to follow clinical direction and work collaboratively with a team.
Ability to travel to multiple work sites and client homes, with reliable transportation.
Must pass health screenings, including TB testing, and obtain required vaccination if requested.
Must clear criminal record checks and a Child Abuse Registry check.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the clinic, spend significant time on their feet, lift and move up to 40 pounds if required, and engage in active play and therapy activities with clients.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Previous experience providing ABA therapy.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality one-to-one direct ABA services to clients with autism in clinic, home, school, and/or community settings under BCBA supervision.
Implement individualized treatment and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA or supervising behavior consultant.
Apply positive behavior intervention strategies to reduce challenging behaviors and increase adaptive skills.
Accurately collect and maintain client data in accordance with treatment protocols and document services provided through session notes.
Collaborate effectively with caregivers, BCBAs, and agency team members.
Deliver therapy services aligned with competency-based evaluations.
Participate in ongoing training related to behavior analysis, crisis intervention, and professional development.
Complete administrative tasks when a client cancels, such as preparing materials, organizing the clinic, or sanitizing toys.
