Provides a safe space for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for students who are disciplined due to behavioral issues impeding learning or classroom instruction. This role involves supporting intervention by collaborating with student services, staff administration, and parents, helping students refocus and de-escalate, and fostering positive classroom management. The position aims to help students learn to own their behavior, develop success plans through mentoring and tutoring, and monitor students in school suspension. It also facilitates educational continuity by communicating with teachers for assignments and providing one-on-one counseling on conflict resolution and relationship restoration.
