The Behavior Specialist will guide and assist with the school-wide classroom implementation of the positive behavior support program, aiming to increase positive student behaviors. The position focuses first on proactive strategies for challenging behaviors and requires immediate availability to respond to crisis situations, de-escalating students using CPI strategies, behavioral contracts, and interventions documented in student's behavioral intervention plans.
