This role involves guiding and assisting with the school-wide classroom implementation of a positive behavior support program, with a primary focus on proactive strategies for managing challenging behaviors. The specialist will also be responsible for immediately responding to crisis situations and de-escalating students using CPI strategies, behavioral contracts, and interventions outlined in student behavioral intervention plans.
