Do you want to work in an educational setting working with Children and Adolescents? Being a Behavior Support Specialist for Devereux PA Children's Services has its Advantages. You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need at our School for Integrated Learning located in West Chester, PA. This is a Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, 52-week, year-round position.

Requirements

• Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required.
• Minimum of at least one year previous experience working in a special education or behavioral healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of the individuals in your care
• Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting
• Support teachers in managing student behaviors
• Ensure efficient communication among the school staff members and leadership
