Our world-class training will prepare you for the job! The Behavior Support is responsible for performing a variety of para-professional tasks related to the care of individuals served by Damar. Essential job duties and responsibilities are in accordance with Damar’s Strategic Plan and requirements by licensure. This position is funded by the Department of Education (DOE). Duration of services for clients will vary and be determined by the case conference committee.

Requirements

Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program
Be able to provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED
Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record that meets eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
Successfully complete a pre-employment physical
Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening
