About The Position

Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) is hiring a Behavior Specialist to support children with autism and other developmental needs using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The role uses play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills. Specialists follow personalized plans developed by clinical leaders and celebrate children’s progress. Work may take place in schools, children’s homes, CSD centers, or the community, in a flexible, on-the-go environment. No prior experience is required; CSD provides training and ongoing support. CSD describes the position as an entry point to a mapped-out career pathway, with paid training, coaching, career milestones, and opportunities for advancement. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Reliable transportation.
Comfort working with diverse populations.
Willingness to complete training and documentation.
Ability to frequently sit and stand and keep pace with the client.
Proof of MMR, Varicella, and COVID vaccinations, as mandated in California.

Nice To Haves

At least 6 months of experience working with people with special needs in a school or related setting.
Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities
