About The Position

Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) is hiring a Behavior Specialist to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in school, home, center, and community settings. The role uses play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children develop communication, social, and life skills. The Behavior Specialist follows individualized plans designed by clinical leaders, supports student progress, and celebrates developmental milestones. This is a flexible, on-the-go role with paid training and coaching; prior experience is not required. The position offers a mapped career pathway, career milestones, and free college or tuition reimbursement. Starting pay is $20–$25 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Enjoy working with children and making a difference.
Patience, dependability, and compassion.
Clear communication and ability to work well as part of a team.
Comfort working in structured, school-based environments.
Flexible availability, especially Monday–Friday afternoons and evenings, plus Saturdays.
Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations.
Reliable transportation.
Comfort working with diverse populations.
Willingness to complete training and documentation.
Ability to frequently sit and stand and keep pace with the client.

Responsibilities

Use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills.
Provide support during sessions in children’s homes, CSD centers, schools, or community settings.
Follow personalized plans designed by clinical leaders.
Support children’s progress and celebrate developmental milestones.
Complete required training and documentation.
Work collaboratively with families, clinical leaders, and team members.
