Behavior Specialist / RBT – Western Colorado
About The Position
Center for Social Dynamics (CSD) is hiring a Behavior Specialist to support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs in school-based, home, center, and community settings. The role uses play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children build communication, social, and life skills. Behavior Specialists follow individualized plans developed by clinical leaders and celebrate children’s progress and milestones. This is a flexible, on-the-go role with paid training and coaching. Prior experience is not required. CSD describes a mapped career pathway with career milestones and opportunities for growth, including free college or tuition reimbursement. The posting advertises starting pay of $20–$25 per hour, based on experience. The role has a consistent weekday schedule with no weekends and a school-year calendar with holidays aligned to district schedules; the requirements also request flexible availability, especially weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Enjoy working with children and making a difference.

- Flexible availability, especially Monday–Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.
- Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations.
- Reliable transportation.
- Comfort working with diverse populations.
- Willingness to complete training and documentation.
- Ability to frequently sit and stand and keep pace with the client.
Responsibilities
- Use play, games, and evidence-based strategies to help children develop communication, social, and life skills.
- Work with children in homes, CSD centers, schools, and community settings.
- Follow personalized plans designed by clinical leaders.
- Support children’s progress and celebrate developmental milestones.
- Complete required training and documentation.
