About The Position

The Behavioral Health Clinician I/II provides culturally sensitive behavioral health assessment, treatment, and case management services to children and/or adults with mental health conditions. The position is located at Casa del Sol, La Clínica de La Raza’s mental health department serving Alameda County’s Latino population; the population and treatment focus depend on the assigned program. Provisional DSM and ICD-10 diagnoses are reviewed and established under the clinical supervisor’s license. The role requires meeting monthly billing and productivity goals, completing documentation promptly, using electronic calendaring and charting systems, and using collaborative documentation when clinically appropriate. Clinicians participate in meetings, trainings, case conferences, and peer review, review interventions and documentation with a supervisor, and ensure work complies with agency, state, county, and quality-assurance standards. Other clinical, administrative, and operational duties may be assigned.
