At Dungarvin, the Behavior Analyst will develop and implement programs and services to remediate behavioral and social problems for adult persons served. This role involves designing and monitoring systems to support individuals engaging in challenging behaviors, participating as a team member to enhance quality of life, independence, productivity, and social/physical integration. The analyst will review behavioral staff reports/plans, provide assessments, intervention strategies, and consultation for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and assist primary health care providers with behavioral and social problems. Key aspects include data collection, tracking, reporting, developing and implementing staff and caregiver training, attending meetings, and assisting support teams in finding community resources. The role requires frequent observation of persons served, staff interactions, and the environment during and outside of normal business hours.
