About The Position
The Before and After School Care Program Assistant will serve as a role model to participants in the program, enjoying working with school-aged children/teens. This role involves ensuring the safety of all children, managing sign-ins and sign-outs, creating an enriching and safe environment, planning activities, and interacting positively with children and their families. The assistant will work independently and as part of a team, performing other related tasks as assigned by the principal or pastor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Protecting God's Children Certificate and Background Check required.
- Complete an online Frontline Applicant Tracking application and upload required supplemental materials.
- Upload/submit Current Resume.
- Upload/submit Official Transcripts, if applicable/obtained.
- Upload/submit ISBE ELIS Educator (PARA), if applicable/obtained.
- Upload/submit References.
Nice To Haves
- A background in education and/or college course(s) in recreation education is a plus but not required.
- Childcare work experience with children of all ages preferred but not required.
