About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by processing purchases accurately, assisting customers, and keeping interactions friendly and efficient. The role includes scanning and bagging groceries, answering questions, and helping customers complete their purchases.

You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently. Tasks may include handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The work is active and fast-paced, with priorities and customer flow changing throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or 18 years old depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, apply pricing and produce codes, and complete orders accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain an organized, clean checkout area.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
