About The Position
Freight Runners Express / Air Charter Express (FRE/ACE) is currently seeking Beech 99 Captains for upcoming classes in 2026. This job will provide you with an ample amount of PIC turbine time and valuable all-weather experience. Our operation runs 365 days a year in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, with approximately 350 weekly departures. Our aircraft feature Garmin G600TXi flight deck, on-board weather, autopilots, and a completely paperless experience with company issued iPads. FRE/ACE began in 1985 flying cargo and added passenger service in 1992. We now operate a fleet of 26 aircraft throughout North America. We are a growing company with opportunities for career advancement and increased pay based on performance, upgrades, and duration of employment. We are a drug and alcohol-free workplace and require pre-employment and random prohibited substance testing. Requirements
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating
- FAA 1st Class Medical
- Meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for PIC in IFR conditions
- 1,200 hours total time
- 500 hours PIC
- 500 hours cross country (point to point)
- 100 hours night
- 75 hours instrument (50 in an actual airplane)
- 75 hours multi engine PIC
- Instrument current
- Valid US Passport with a minimum of 36 months prior to expiration at the start of training
- Able to travel unrestricted to Canada, Mexico and all countries in the Caribbean
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Pass all background checks and FAA/DOT pre-employment drug test
- Able to lift 75lbs unassisted and move palletized cargo inside the aircraft weighing up to 2,000lbs using cargo handling equipment.
- Agree to a 1-year Training Agreement
- Must be a United States citizen or have the right to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Act as Captain for Beechcraft 99 aircraft.
- Operate flights 365 days a year in the US, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
- Utilize company-issued iPads for a paperless flight experience.
- Ensure safe and reliable flights.
- Participate in pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
