Bed Placement Clerk - Part Time
About The Position
Supports the continuum of care by facilitating entry and transfer of patients in Genesis Medical Center. This role involves data entry for encounter updates related to patient status and bed management, assisting the patient flow coordinator, coordinating insurance eligibility and pre-certification, and assisting with pre-registration of ancillary/inpatient stays. The position also supports quality and service data management, facilitates physician to physician conversations, and is responsible for the coordination and communication of the physician on-call schedule. Additionally, it supports the implementation of departmental and organizational goals.

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
