Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in salon, skincare, spa, beauty, hospitality, or a related leadership role with a strong understanding of guest-focused operations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, and develop a team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and exceptional service.
  • Possess strong business and financial acumen, including experience managing budgets, controlling expenses, forecasting revenue, and driving retail and service performance.
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to work independently, implement policies and procedures, and resolve operational or guest concerns effectively.
  • Maintain excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be comfortable performing light physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, while maintaining a hands-on leadership presence within the department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operations of the Salon and Skincare departments, providing direction, mentorship, and support to aestheticians, stylists, nail technicians, beauty service agents, and department leadership.
  • Onboard, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a culture of engagement, accountability, and exceptional guest service.
  • Ensure an outstanding guest experience by resolving concerns, accommodating requests, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting day-to-day service operations as needed.
  • Manage department performance through scheduling, payroll, budgeting, inventory control, revenue monitoring, and strategic staffing to meet business demands.
  • Develop and enhance beauty programming by partnering with vendors, creating promotional events, supporting treatment and retail initiatives, and driving sales performance through team coaching.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence by overseeing facility conditions, ensuring compliance with department procedures, and partnering with Facilities to address maintenance needs promptly.
