About The Position

The Beauty Flex Associate drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience through excellent service, relationship-building, product applications, and customized recommendations. The role calls for enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industry, a competitive drive, and confidence in a fast-paced commission environment. This is an hourly position. Associates help customers with makeup application and skincare services, maintain product knowledge, support store operations, and contribute to a positive store culture. They must maintain any professional licenses or certifications required by applicable state and local regulatory boards. The position requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and physical activity throughout the store, including lifting and moving at least 40 pounds.

Ability to maintain required professional licenses and certifications as required by applicable state and local regulatory boards.

Responsibilities

Greet, engage, and assist customers warmly, providing personalized service.
Use suggestive selling and product recommendations to meet customer needs and drive sales.
Build customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle customer inquiries, returns, and concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain selling areas, merchandise presentation, signage, fitting rooms, and cleanliness through recovery and stock replenishment.
Use training tools and feedback to improve product knowledge, selling skills, and performance.
Stay informed about products, promotions, policies, and store events and provide accurate information to customers.
Build connections with teammates, share knowledge, and celebrate individual and team achievements.
Assist with store fulfillment, pricing, promotional sets, product placement, and other assigned tasks.
Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols; support shortage control, inventory accuracy, and risk reduction.
Assist customers with makeup application and skincare services.
Maintain required professional licenses and certifications, including state-specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses where required.
