About The Position
As a highly skilled make-up artist, the Beauty Advisor combines creative and technical expertise with a passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers. The role works as part of a high-performing team to create impact through in-store events and maintain high visual merchandising standards. This is a seasonal, part-time position at the Cosmetic Company Store in Kittery, Maine. The company welcomes applicants with amateur-level make-up experience who can demonstrate creative and technical expertise, and offers training and development, competitive remuneration, and benefits to eligible employees.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
Nice To Haves
- Qualification or certification in make-up artistry.
- Previous retail make-up experience.
- Amateur-level make-up experience is welcomed for applicants able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise.
