About The Position

The Beauty Advisor (also referred to as Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor) focuses on creating a memorable shopping experience by advising customers on hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Sally Beauty provides product knowledge and training; the advisor brings passion and personality to help customers with their beauty needs. The role involves customer engagement, sales support, store merchandising, and maintaining a professional store environment. A range of working schedules and hours is available.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors on occasion.
• The role requires prolonged standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities, and recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• The role involves working around moving parts, carts, or machines and may occasionally include exposure to irritant chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about and enroll them in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
