About The Position

The Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor focuses on creating memorable shopping experiences and guiding customers through their beauty needs, including hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails. Sally Beauty provides product knowledge and training to support the advisor’s work. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate clearly and concisely with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Able to read and explain product labels.
• Able to follow directions and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Able to perform physical activities including prolonged standing and walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail sales or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Inform customers about the Loyalty program and enroll them in it.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty Culture Values.
• Apply product knowledge training to support customer service.
