About The Position

Checkout.com is hiring an ambitious, curious, and resilient business builder for its global NextGen BDR Programme. The role offers the opportunity to learn the payments craft and work with ambitious merchants and global brands, using data, technology, and AI to create high-intent opportunities for Sales. Participants take on responsibility from the start and receive support from experienced Sales leaders, coaching, and a cohort community. The programme is global and activated locally, with a platform for building a long-term commercial career. The role involves learning Checkout.com’s products, the payments ecosystem, and global payment trends; researching strategic accounts and stakeholders; and creating personalised conversations with decision-makers through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other appropriate channels. The BDR builds a consistent rhythm across prospecting, follow-up, discovery, and pipeline management, and works with Sales and cross-functional teams to progress merchant opportunities through to financial go-live. Salesforce, intent data, enrichment tools, analytics, and approved AI tools support research, personalisation, territory planning, and pipeline accuracy. The programme is designed for graduates and early-career builders, including recent graduates, professionals with one to three years of experience, and career changers with strong commercial drive. Previous BDR, sales, or commercial experience is helpful but not essential. The position is based in New York; the company describes its working model as hybrid, with three days per week in the office. Programme start dates are in March and September 2027.
