About The Position

Doppel is seeking a BDR Manager to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives responsible for generating qualified pipeline across our Commercial, Mid-Enterprise, and Enterprise segments. This is a hands-on people management role for a leader who is passionate about developing BDR talent, building strong outbound and inbound motions, and creating a culture of accountability, urgency, and continuous improvement. You will directly manage a team of BDRs and own their day-to-day performance, coaching, development, and pipeline generation goals. You will work closely with Sales leadership, Marketing, RevOps, and Account Executives to ensure the BDR organization is targeting the right accounts, delivering relevant messaging, responding quickly to inbound demand, and consistently creating high-quality pipeline. Doppel believes the future of business development will be AI-enabled, highly personalized, and deeply data-driven. You will help the team adopt modern prospecting tools, AI-powered workflows, intent signals, and automation while maintaining the thoughtful, personalized outreach required to engage enterprise security buyers. The ideal candidate is an experienced BDR/SDR people manager who combines strong coaching and leadership skills with operational rigor, a data-driven mindset, and a willingness to be deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of the team. This is an in-office leadership role based in Austin, TX.

  • Strong coaching skills across cold calling, email outreach, objection handling, discovery, qualification, and prospecting strategy.
  • Data-driven approach to managing BDR performance, including activity, conversion, meetings, opportunities, and pipeline metrics.
  • Experience using modern CRM and sales engagement platforms and an interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve BDR productivity.
  • Strong understanding of modern prospecting strategies, intent data, enrichment tools, sequencing, and personalization.

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive work so BDRs can spend more time engaging high-value prospects.
  • Experiment with new prospecting strategies, messaging, channels, and technologies to improve pipeline generation.
  • Balance automation and scale with thoughtful, personalized outreach to strategic accounts.
