About The Position

We're looking for an enthusiastic BDC (Business Development Center) Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for customers beginning their vehicle-buying journey. You'll engage with internet leads, phone inquiries, and showroom prospects, helping schedule appointments and creating an exceptional first impression that drives our dealership's success. Whether you have dealership experience or a strong background in customer service, sales, or call center operations, we'll provide the tools and support you need to succeed.

Requirements

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable using computers and CRM software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, or call center experience preferred.
  • Automotive dealership or BDC experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to internet leads, phone calls, emails, and text inquiries.
  • Build rapport with customers and identify their vehicle needs.
  • Schedule appointments for the sales team and encourage showroom visits.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using the dealership CRM.
  • Follow up with prospects to maximize appointment show rates.
  • Work closely with the sales team to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals.
  • Represent Great Lakes Honda City with professionalism and enthusiasm.
