About The Position

An energetic and friendly BDC Agent (experience preferred) to join our growing dealership team! The ideal candidate will have a proven background in automotive business development, strong communication skills, and the ability to convert leads into appointments that drive sales and service opportunities. As a key member of our customer relations team, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications, following up on internet leads, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from first contact to showroom.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Previous experience in automotive sales or customer service is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Business Development Center (BDC), customer service, or sales capacity, with a strong preference for candidates possessing automotive industry expertise.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including but not limited to VinSolutions, DriveCentric, and DealerSocket, alongside solid skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication, active listening, and interpersonal abilities, effectively engaging clients via phone, email, and text messaging.
  • Outstanding organizational capabilities, with meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • A positive and professional demeanor, coupled with the capacity to excel within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with inbound and outbound customer calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule appointments for customers with the sales and service departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update the customer database regularly.
  • Follow up with leads to nurture customer relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and service teams to ensure seamless communication and customer experience.
