About The Position

At North Shore Pediatric Therapy in Des Plaines, IL, we are looking for a BCBA in training to join our team. In this role, you will work as a Registered Behavior Technician, while also assisting the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. You must currently be enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards your BCBA certification. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards BCBA certification.
• 1 year of experience conducting ABA therapy with clients with Autism.
• Active RBT certification with the BACB.
• Background in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and ability to pick up new technology quickly.

Responsibilities

• Work as a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Assist the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients.
• Provide weekly supervision.
• Practice doing intakes and discharges.
• Lead Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) training classes for onboarding and ongoing training.
• Enter notes, assessments, and treatment summaries after each session into the electronic medical system.
