About The Position

At Gracent Pediatric Therapy in St. Charles, IL, we are looking for a BCBA in training to join our team. In this role, you will work as a Registered Behavior Technician, while also assisting the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. You must currently be enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards your BCBA certification. As part of a clinical team, you’ll be providing a life-changing service that affects entire families today, tomorrow, and years into the future. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or completed graduate-level ABA courses, and actively working towards certification as a BCBA.
  • 1 year of experience conducting ABA therapy with clients with Autism.
  • Active RBT certification with the BACB.
  • Background in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to pick up new technology quickly.
  • Ability to enter notes, assessments, and treatment summaries after each session into an electronic medical system.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Registered Behavior Technician.
  • Assist the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients.
  • Provide a life-changing service that affects entire families.
  • Maintain a role as a Behavior Therapist for approximately half the hours.
  • Lead Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) training classes for onboarding and ongoing training.
