About The Position
Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital located in Panama City, Florida. They provide mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families, and veterans. This specific role is for a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide onsite rounding services on Saturdays and Sundays, approximately from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The position involves managing a caseload of inpatient patients aged 12 and older, with no call requirement. Duties include evaluations, assessments, medication management, daily patient care, and related administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Master’s level Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatry
- PMHNP certification is required
- Must have an active Florida license or the ability to obtain
- Must be willing to see ages 12 and older
