About The Position

We are hiring Entry-Level Data Center Power Technicians to support a large-scale UPS Battery Replacement Project inside a data center environment. This project involves replacing approximately 9,000 industrial UPS batteries, each weighing 110–120 lbs, making this a physically demanding but highly valuable entry point into the DC Power Plant / Data Center industry. This role is ideal for hardworking individuals who want hands-on experience in mission-critical infrastructure. No prior data center or power experience is required—on-the-job training and formal online manufacturer training will be provided.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and handle 110–120 lb batteries (with team assistance and proper techniques)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Willingness to learn new technical skills
• Ability to pass: Drug screening, Background check, Vaccination compliance requirements
• Reliable personal transportation

Nice To Haves

• Construction, warehouse, or labor experience
• Familiarity with basic hand tools
• Interest in data centers, power systems, or critical infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Assisting with removal and installation of large UPS batteries
• Performing repetitive, labor-intensive material handling tasks
• Following detailed procedures and safety protocols
• Using basic hand tools to assist with battery change-outs
• Working as part of a team in a structured data center environment
• Completing required online manufacturer (EnerSys) training
• Taking direction from supervisors and experienced technicians
