Requirements

  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly per day.
  • Commitment to maintain an organized and clean workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Strict adherence to safe work practices to minimize risks and maintain a secure working environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a box truck.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of electric is desirable.
  • Ideally be located within one hour of Seattle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment.
  • Team with the Technical Service Manager and multiple cross-functional departments to achieve optimal functioning levels for the company.
  • Ensure complete operability of warehouse equipment at all times.
  • Maintain inventory of all supplies and note any damaged goods.
  • Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
  • Process and distribute documentation with purchase orders, reports, and documents.
  • Track damages and discrepancies on orders received.
  • Maintain the warehouse, records area, and storage area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Inventory all tools, spare parts, and equipment within the warehouse.
  • Organize the warehouse storage of material.
  • Strip and recycle all recycle cables and wires 4 AWG to 750kcmil.
  • Deliver all scrap metal, exposed copper, wire/cables to the local recycle yard.
  • Test all new batteries accepted for battery replacement.
  • Ensure all new batteries have the correct date code.
  • Assist technicians with battery installations, preparation, and field service.
  • Recharge all batteries in stock every 6 months.
  • Recycle all failed batteries.
  • Organize, palletize, and shrink wrap all defective batteries to be recycled.
  • Remove warehouse trash when needed.
  • Help to load and unload batteries.
  • Ensure a clean and safe warehouse for staff to work in.
  • Perform other scopes of work appointed by the Service Manager.
  • Travel as needed.
