Battery Service Technician (Road Technician)
About The Position
Carolina Industrial Products is seeking to hire a full-time Battery Service Technician to repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field. This role is crucial as you will be the face of the company, providing essential services to manufacturers, warehouses, and distribution centers across NC and SC. You will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial forklift batteries and chargers, ensuring clients can maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. The position requires strong customer service skills, clear communication with clients and team members, and the ability to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service skills
